How much does it cost to join Penfolds Membership?

There is no cost to join the Collector Quarterly Membership. Kalimna Society and Private Cellar Memberships are by invitation only.

When can I expect to be billed for my Penfolds Membership shipments?

Collector Members receive billing and shipments quarterly in February, April, October & December.


What states can Penfolds Membership ship to?

State legal restrictions permit us to ship wine only to these states:

How long does my membership last?

Penfolds Collector Members receive a minimum commitment of 2 shipments and enjoy membership and the benefits for as long as they like. Kalimna Society and Private Cellar Members receive benefits for 12 months with a minimum annual spend on wine.

How will I know when I will be charged?

You will receive an email notification 2 weeks prior to the billing of your quarterly shipment, letting you know the selection and add-on options. After billing you will see a charge from Penfolds on your statement. Kalimna Society and Private Cellar Members choose their own schedule for selection, quantity and shipping.

How much will I be charged for shipping?

Shipping wine can be expensive (think heavy boxes & specialized packaging) so we offer a flat rate price of $15 for all ground and temperature-controlled Member Collector Quarterly and Kalimna Society shipments. Kalimna Society Members receive complimentary ground shipping on orders over $800. Private Cellar members receive complimentary expedited shipping on all wine orders.

I have been charged for my Penfolds Member shipment, when will I receive it?

We will charge your card the day your release ships out. For most of the West Coast, wine shipments are delivered 1 to 2 days later. For East Coast addresses, wine shipments are delivered between 5 to 10 business days. When your release is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.

How can I make changes to my Penfolds membership?

What discounts do I receive as a Penfolds Member?

Members receive 20% discount on most wines. There are limitations on some library, special bins, and special bottlings.

How do I use my membership discount?

Penfolds Members receive 20% off for applicable wines at penfolds.com, while attending a private or sponsored event, or by calling us at (800) 255-9966.

How do I cancel my Penfolds membership?

You may cancel your Penfolds Membership any time before billing by logging into your Account then choosing "My Wine Clubs" and "Manage Subscription".

What happens if my Penfolds shipment is sent back to the winery?

The shipping service we use will make three delivery attempts before returning the wine to us. To avoid re-shipment fees, we suggest that you provide an a delivery address, such as a place of business, with someone over the age of 21 available to sign for your order.

What if I end up with a corked or damaged bottle?

In the unlikely event that a bottle arrives damaged or corked (we inspect the wines incredibly closely before shipment), notify us as soon as possible so that we may provide a solution. Save all bottles, corks, and packaging to enable us to investigate the issue thoroughly. Sometimes the carrier or our lab reviews these items for follow up.

Can I skip or postpone a Membership shipment?

Yes. Quarterly Members receive an email notification 10 days prior to billing, notifying you that your customization window is open. Choose an alternate shipping date or skip the shipment altogether. You must take a minimum of two shipments per year to maintain an active status and use your benefits. Contact us for assistance.

Can I customize my shipment?

Definitely! Quarterly Members are sent a link to view the selection online 10 days prior to billing when the customization window opens. You can add more wines or swap wines to ensure you get the wines you really want in every shipment. You also may speak to our brand ambassador to ask questions or acquire wines that are not shown online. Kalimna Society and Private Cellar Members set their own selection, payment, and delivery.

How many guests can I bring with me for a tasting?

Penfolds Collector and Kalimna Society Members enjoy one annual tasting experience for up to four guests. Private Cellar Members enjoy tasting for up to six guests. For additional benefits please contact us.
