Since its first vintage in 1976, Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet has established itself as one of Australia's favourite red wines. It’s reputation has been built upon its full-flavoured style, affordable price, its approachability in its youth, with the potential to develop if carefully cellared.
Koonunga Hill Seventy-Six Shiraz Cabernet was first vintaged in 2006, thirty years after the original wine and pays homage to a remarkable, long-lived style. It is a refined version of its stablemate and is made for current drinking, or, like all Koonunga Hill red wines, will also benefit from a few years of cellaring.

In the early 1970s Max Schubert began the quest for a range of white wines that would equal the already famous red wines of Penfolds. One of the first wines from these trials was named Autumn Riesling. The Koonunga Hill Autumn Riesling acknowledges the original 1972 vintage by closely adhering to the original packaging. A fine talc acid structure gives great length of flavour and 'linearity' to this wine and the small addition of traminer makes it a truly unique offering.
Koonunga Hill Chardonnay reflects Penfolds multi-region, multi-vineyard blending philosophy. A light to medium bodied Chardonnay with distinctive primary fruit characters, sustained intensity and a subtle underlay of moderate oak.
