Special Bin Tasting Notes

Penfolds Special Release wines are held in the greatest esteem by generations of wine collectors. Some of these Special Release wines have led to the formation of masterpieces such as Grange. Whilst others are the impressive result of explorative jaunts to build winemaking knowledge. Many of the wines, like the 1962 Penfolds Bin 60A Kalimna Shiraz and Coonawarra Cabernet, have enjoyed exceptional Australian wine show careers and extraordinary fame.
