Dr Christopher and Mary Penfold came to uncharted land 175 years ago and from there the Penfolds story began with tonics, brandies and fortified wines.
To mark our milestone anniversary and the Barossa Valley vintage festival, we are proud to host a fortified and brandy tasting that celebrates our origins.
Join us on April 24 for a two hour tasting with our Fortified and Spirits Winemaker, Matt Woo. Matt will guide you through the Penfolds Fortified collection, including our acclaimed 50 Year Old Rare Tawny. He will also introduce two of our new spirits, our Lot 1990 Pot-Distilled Single Batch Brandy and Lot. 518 Spirited Wine with Baijiu.
The tasting experience will be complemented with food by Magill Estate Restaurant Head Chef, Scott Huggins and all attendees will take home a bottle of Lot. 1990 Pot-Distilled Single Batch Brandy (RRP $425 AUD).
