LOCATION Central Barossa Valley, South Australia (locality: Marananga) – about three kilometres (two miles) west of Tanunda.
SOILS Sandy clay loams and light to medium-heavy clays.
RAINFALL Average rainfall is around 508 mm (20 in). About 200 mm (8 in) falls during the growing season.
IRRIGATION Supplementary irrigation is provided.
VITICULTURE Planted in 2005–06.
VINE DENSITY 1851 vines per hectare (749 vines per acre).
GRAPE VARIETIES Shiraz.
FRUIT PROFILE This vineyard contributes fruit to Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz, Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz and Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz.
