LOCATION Two kilometres (one mile) south-east of the McLaren Vale township of South Australia, extending south through to Rifle Range Road.
SOILS Sandy clay, clay and Bay of Biscay soils.
RAINFALL Average rainfall is 550 mm (22 in).
IRRIGATION Supplementary irrigation is provided.
VITICULTURE Generally flat with north–south row plantings.
GRAPE VARIETIES Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
FRUIT PROFILE This vineyard contributes fruit to St Henri Shiraz, Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz and Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vines were planted in 1972 and the vineyard spans 25 hectares (61 acres).
