Penfolds Collection 2016

Bottle of Penfolds Grange

2012 Grange

“Complete. Stylistically, most closely aligned to the 1963 Grange and yet stridently extolling its own personality.” Peter Gago, Penfolds Chief Winemaker

Fresh and refined with compelling depth, 2012 Grange is structurally complete and even throughout. It boasts a radiant inner sheen yet is still assertive. Dusty, softened tannins, sculptured oak, savoury flavours and a boundless array of red fruits combine to make this our release of the year.

The intriguing nose beguiles with a curious combination of tomato paste, blood orange, cola and potpourri aromatics. Its symphony of sarsaparilla, cumquat, tangelo, persimmon and liquorice entwined by cucumber and cranberry acidity and tamed tannins.
