Each tasting note describes the wine's nose, palate and colour; the first marker of the wines journey in bottle. Each Penfolds wine has a unique history of which an excerpt is shared.

TASTE DESCRIPTION

Medium-deep crimson. Intense ripe apricot and mulberry aromas with star anise and notes of dried roses. A generous and almost plush wine with beautiful, dense and expansive apricot, mulberry and liquorice flavours, superb mid-palate viscosity and fresh vanilla toasty notes. Finishes firm with a superb tannin plume. Exotic, generous and beautiful. Should age magnificently.
