Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant has been recognised as one of the Top 10 restaurants in Australia, by leading epicurean title, Gourmet Traveller Magazine.
Announced at an awards dinner held in Sydney last night, the restaurant was named in ‘10th place’ in the prestigious Top 100 – which annually represents a higher order of excellence.
Magill’s Co-Head Chefs’ Scott Huggins and Emma McCaskill were also celebrated, receiving the sought-after award for ‘Best New Talent’. Recognised by the judges for the way in which they have seamlessly taken their international experience to create a true fine-dining destination, Scott and Emma’s cooking was heralded as ‘subtle, elegant and absolutely convincing.’
