Our Cellar Reserve range is our winemakers’ creative playground where alternative, experimental and one-off bottles come to life. Over time, this has included fiano, mataro, sangiovese, gewürztraminer and viognier, as well as more well-known varietals such as shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir and chardonnay. They are a canvas for our winemakers to push boundaries, create new styles and encapsulate our commitment to excellence in winemaking.
Released with ‘retro labels’ that pay homage to the original 1970s releases, our Koonunga Hill Seventy-Six and Autumn Riesling wines offer quality, value and consistency. Since its 1971 debut, Koonunga Hill Autumn Riesling has remained stylistically true to its origins of fruit purity and minerality. Similarly, Koonunga Hill Seventy Six Shiraz Cabernet, a multi-regional South Australian blend, balances consistency and power within its modest price point, holding a strong reputation among red wine drinkers.
