Penfolds Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz is a contemporary Shiraz alternative, framed by a mix of oaks and conceived from the ancient soils of Marananga, very close to the centre of the Barossa Valley floor.

The 2008 vintage was its first, and the cool and dry conditions during the start of summer were described as perfect, allowing the superb colour and flavour development.

After a record 15 day heatwave, a vintage of two distinct halves was produced, illustrating the profound differences between fruit that is packed before and after a period of intense heat.

Rabbit loin, confit leg, vanilla linguini, braised pistachios, mild pancetta and apricot.
