Penfolds Site Help

General
This website has been designed to be best viewed on either PC in Internet Explorer (version 7 for Windows and above), Firefox (version 2 and above), Google Chrome (version 4.1.249 and above) and Safari (version 4 and above) and on Apple Mac in Safari (version 4 and above) and Firefox (versions 2 and above). Wherever possible, content viewed in older browsers will preserve a similar style.

The site makes use of JavaScript, so users that view the site with the JavaScript option in their browsers turned off may experience limited functionality.

Some of the documents in the Penfolds website need plug-ins to be installed on your computer to function correctly.

Various parts of the website have been created with Adobe Flash and require the Flash plug-in to display on your computer. The Flash plug-in is available from the Adobe website. Whilst the plug-in provides a way for us to display extra graphic information in a convenient format, you do not need this plug-in to view the majority of content on our site. A small icon will appear under any diagrams that require Flash if you do not have Flash installed.

Please Note: At present links to all PDF files and other downloadable files and links to external pages will open in a new window where JavaScript is enabled.

Changing the font size
The text font size of the content in this website is adjustable in browsers which allow font re-sizing. To vary the size of the fonts on Microsoft Internet Explorer: From the browser's menu click "View" then select the "Text Size" or "Zoom" menu item to adjust the font size as required. In Firefox click “View” then select the “Zoom” menu item. In Safari click “View” then “Make Text Bigger” and in Google Chrome click the "Control the current page" button then select “Text Zoom”.

Standards compliance
Penfolds uses Web Standards to help keep pages small, quick to load in your browser and accessible to people with disabilities. Web browsers which do not use web standards may not render pages in the same way as modern, standards compliant web browsers, but should be readable and functionally similar on all devices.

Pages on this site have been designed to comply with W3 accessibility guidelines to level 2 compliance. HTML is written to the HTML XHTML 1.0 Strict standard and CSS Style sheets are used to separate visual presentation from content where possible.

All images which visually describe content have the required ALT tags.
